Prayer Ministry Training Review:
with James Nickols:
The Prayer Ministry teams training event proved a successful meeting as people came together from about a dozen churches from all across the area to learn about this much needed area.
After a short time of worship and adoration Revd. James Nickols of the Filling Station Trust spoke passionately about prayer and praying for others in a counselling situation. His training session was filled with stories of ministry and experience he and others had during times of ministry, and this brought to life the teachings of scripture.
James shared about the life and ministry of Jesus and how he had spoken into the lives of other powerfully and without prose. Jesus simply brought the kingdom of God to bear in any given situation. James reflected on how our own times of prayer for others should reflect Jesus teachings and example.
The evening finished with worship and prayer for each other.
