HOPE's Executive Director: Roy Crowne and local HOPE Practitioner Brian Edgeley would like to invite all church leaders across Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole to come together over lunch to hear about the new HOPE 2018 Initiative which is taking place throughout the UK next year.

This year is earmarked by the Roy and the HOPE Together Team as a time for inspiration, motivation and preparation; and a year of prayer. The initial Wessex Leaders Lunch will be hosted by Revd. Sarah Pix (pictured below) of St Mary's church Ferndown in The Beacon Centre; Sarah is also Team Rector for the Hampreston Benefice and said:

"We're delighted to be involved in this initiative by hosting this HOPE 2018 leaders lunch. What a great opportunity to work together to bring the hope that only Jesus offers to our local communities!"

The venue for the lunchtime event, as mentioned above, will be The Beacon Centre at St Mary's Church. (address details below) Firstly, leaders will gather in the church for coffee and then continue through to the Beacon Centre hall for lunch and to hear Roy share about HOPE 2018: Inspiring the Church to (work together) in Mission!

We are hoping that representatives from as many churches as possible will come along to be inspired by what is going to happen nationally next year. If you (or your church leader) cannot come please delegate another member or leader to attend on the church's behalf so you are kept in the loop.

Who is Roy Crowne?

Roy Crowne Button Image [120x120]Roy is HOPE's Executive Director and is a respected leader and evangelist whose vision for mission is simple yet far reaching. He simply wants people to get to know Jesus in a personal way through the local church; and the local church to become a thriving hub within the local community.

Bringing Churches Together:

HOPE’s vision, is of a growing and vibrant church - showing Jesus’ love and telling the Jesus story - at the heart of every community; and there’s a sense that it’s about time for a spiritual harvest! Roy writes that now is:

"A time to dream, a time to grow and a time for action ...
... then it's a time for harvest!"

HOPE supports churches in mission: bringing churches together, initiating seasons of prayer and resourcing a rhythm of mission through the church calendar. A central theme of HOPE's vision is in mobilising young people to act.Your King and Country NEED YOU! HOPE's goal is to leave a legacy of mission at the heart of every church, yes - every church throughout the United Kingdom; and that is where YOU come in!

God is on the move throughout Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole. This area that used to be known as the 'Bible-belt of the South' is once again experiencing the growing pains of spiritual birth. Hope is rising in peoples hearts and prayers for revival are again upon the lips of the Christians. (read more - what is HOPE?)

Can We bring our Elders?

Please consider coming to hear what Roy has to say on that Friday lunchtime, 28th April. Some leaders have already asked if they can bring some of their leadership team with them so that they can all hear what is said and be inspired together. The answer is yes! The more leaders who are inspired to work together, the bigger the impact on our communities. This is the time of inspiration, motivation and preparation...

We look forward to welcoming you there.
