ON THE ROAD 2019
with David Hilborn
As we continue our autumn series of meetings, we are really excited to be working in partnership for our second meeting with Bournemouth Community Church (BCC). This will be our 4th time of working with the leadership of BCC and each time it has been a joy!
Our keynote speaker is David Hilborn: Moorlands new Principal. David has been at the helm of Moorlands College since January 2019 and comes to us with a growing excitement at what God is doing throughout our area. Prior to taking up his post at Moorlands, he had served as Head of Theology at the Evangelical Alliance, and Assistant Dean of St Mellitus College.
David was also Principal of St John’s College, Nottingham, before leaving to join Moorlands. <read more... Who is David Hilborn?> He has already made a deep impact on both faculty and students, and spoken at many churches across the area. He is a licensed Church of England minister.
Light in Darkness
For the bright eyed among you will notice that this Filling Station meeting was brought forward a week so not to coincide with the many 'light parties' that churches are putting on for Halloween. However, we are well aware that we are called to be 'light in the darkness' and together will pray for God to be Sovereign over the coming darkness of this age. We will also continue to pray for unity across the churches of the area and for their ministry to their neighbourhoods.
# Please do support these unity meetings with your presence.
We look forward to welcoming you there as you come and join us.
